Police hold interactive session with health department in Kupwara | KNO

Kupwara, June 01 (KNO): Jammu and Kashmir police in north Kashmir's Kupwara district on Monday held an interactive session with the medical authorities at district police lines to ensure cordial relations during the lockdown to fight the COVID-19 together. Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the meeting was held between police and doctors to develop cooperation and cordial relation amid this lockdown enforced in view of the pandemic. They said the meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere and various issues were discussed for smooth and hassle free movement of doctors and paramedical staff during restrictions in the district. In a statement issued by district health society the doctors thanked the district police authorities for the goodwill gesture and cooperation during the lockdown period where no incident of any confrontation or miscommunication was reported. "Both police and health department personnel are working as frontline warriors day in and day out to combat Covid-19 besides providing other social services to the people of Kupwara in such tough times which are worth applauding" the spokesperson said—(KNO)
